Algarve International Circuit (Portuguese: Autódromo Internacional do Algarve), commonly referred to as Portimao Circuit, is a 4.692 km (2.915 mi) race circuit located in Portimão, Portugal. With a total cost of €195 million, the project includes a karting track, technology park, five-star hotel, sports complex and apartments. Its not out for Assetto Corsa and this is probably the closest any of us will actually get to actually driving on it…. So Enjoy!

As easy as it is to just pickup the game and crack on with a lap or two of Spa, adding mods might not be as straight forward as you'd hope. That's why we've put together some frequently asked questions to help you along the way to becoming an Assetto Corsa modding god!
Where do I download Mods?

Unfortunately the internet is full of crooks looking to hijack your PC and steal your data. Please do stick to reputable website for downloading mods and always check the files for viruses and malware. If you don't have any antivirus protection use the basic version of avast! and check your PC regularly with MalwareBytes.
We suggest that you stick to the Race Department website for all your mod downloads. They have all the mods sorted by type Career,Sounds,Apps,Cars,Tracks,Misc andSkins. Be sure to read the comments and mod notes before downloading.
Backup!
Before you go diving head first into the world of Assetto Corsa modding please do make sure you backup up your Assetto Corsa files and folders. In the rare case that a mod breaks something you will be able to revert to a previous version very quickly. Its not unknown for a mod to break something or not work at all. If this is the case then be sure to remove them and revert to your backup copy.
Assetto Corsa files location
The first thing you need to know about installing your newly downloaded mods is where to put them. They need to be placed in the relevant folder within the Assetto Corsa game directory. The game is usually located in C:Program Files (X86)Steamsteamappscommonassettocorsa – In some cases people opt to install their game folder to a second larger drive (if you are using an SSD). If this is the case you will probably already know the file location.
How do I install new cars
New cars should be added to the C:Program Files (X86)Steamsteamappscommonassettocorsacontentcars folder. You should copy the folder into this root folder and not into ant existing car folder. In the event that the new car does not show up in Assetto Corsa please check the new cars folder you have added, sometimes they are nested within an additional folder i.e. assettocorsacontentcarsmonstertruckmonstertruck – you may need to remove the first containing folder.
